Requirements for this class: This is only a supplemental class. Players must be enrolled 2 days in HP2,3 Group classes and be willing to work with a private coach. This is NOT designed to be a fun play time. This is the daily grind that all tournament players MUST do to maintain their game so that they are consistent.
We will only work with promising athletes that are willing to train hard. We will not waste our time babysitting a player that doesn't have the heart to improve. We are investing in our promising players to train them to be COMPETITIVE in CHICAGOLAND and MIDWEST.
We want to see the improvement in your UTR. Players are expected to play USTA or UTR tournaments twice a month.
We want to see our College Prep Players execute the basic fundamentals flawlessly over and over again. They will be trained to be REPETITIVE. THIS IS NOT FUN.
Our College Preppers will be trained with Power Matches, Ball Machine Consistency Testing and Tennis specific fitness training.
Please Do not expect to see results overnight. It takes time to develop a Tournament Player. Parents are expected to be supportive and NOT be the driving force in this process. Players need to take ownership of their tennis in order for them to succeed.
College Preppers are expected to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Please discuss with your school counselors for PE exemptions and early dismissal if necessary. College Preppers are expected to compte in their High School Varsity season.
